Routine pool-care questions
How often should a pool be serviced?
Weekly professional service is recommended for most Southwest Florida pools so debris removal, brushing, water testing, chemical adjustments, and visual equipment observations happen consistently.
What does a typical weekly pool service include?
A normal visit may include skimming, brushing, vacuuming as needed, basket cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and a service report. Exact scope depends on the approved service plan.
Why is regular water testing important?
Consistent testing supports swimmer comfort, helps prevent algae, protects finishes and equipment, and allows chemical adjustments before small issues become larger problems.
What chemical levels are generally recommended?
Common targets include pH around 7.4–7.6, free chlorine around 1–3 ppm, and total alkalinity around 80–120 ppm. The correct treatment still depends on the pool, sanitizer system, conditions, and professional testing.
Equipment & renovation
Repairs, replacement, and project timing
When should pool equipment be replaced?
Replacement may make sense when equipment is unreliable, inefficient, severely worn, repeatedly repaired, or no longer supported. A technician should compare repair cost, age, condition, and expected remaining life.
Does Pool Executives repair pool equipment?
Yes. The repair and automation team handles diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and upgrades for major pool-system components, subject to service area and approved scope.
What can be included in a pool renovation?
Projects may include resurfacing, tile, coping, deck work, lighting, water features, equipment upgrades, automation, and other aesthetic or functional improvements.
How long does a renovation take?
Timing varies with the project scope, material selections, permitting, weather, product availability, and site conditions. A project-specific schedule is provided during planning.
